Yes, all courses are NMBI accredited. All registered nurses will receive CPDs and a certificate on completion.
For other healthcare professionals, you will receive a certificate of attendance on completion.
Our clinic is located at Link Healthcare, Westpoint Business Park, Ballincollig, Cork, P31HF29. Alternatively, our nurse can visit patients at home to assess & dress their wound(s).
No, referrals are accepted directly from patients and their families by phone and email.
However, referrals from doctors/nurses are welcome and can be helpful.
This service is open to anyone in need of wound care. Home visits are available for anyone living within 50km of Cork City. Patients living outside of this can attend our clinic space in Ballincollig, Cork P31HF29
Yes, we can provide shared care with your local nursing team. Alternatively, you may need a one-off specialist assessment. We will liaise with your local team after your appointment.
All wounds are assessed & dressed by our Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Unfortunately, this service is not covered under the medical card. Payment can be made by Cash/ Card at yourappointment. You can claim 20% tax back for medical expenses with your receipts
Yes, this service is covered under VHI Nurse Visit. For all other private healthcare insurers, please check directly with your provider.
